TEACHING
As a dance teacher, it is important to teach discipline, genuinity, and good behavior along with the dancing. Growing up, my dance teachers were some of the most impressionable mentors in my life and I give them a lot of credit for who I am today. I teach with discipline and set rules right from the beginning so that my students know what I expect from them. After taking my class, students should have a clear understanding of all of the steps that we have learned. They should also be able to feel more connected with one another because I encourage vulnerability and openness in my class. I measure if my classes are effective by facilitating open discussions at the end of each class. Teaching dance is important to me because I want to be that person that changes the entire course of a student's life and dance journey.
